OUR PROCESS
At Wild Forever Flowers we preserve memories that will last a lifetime. We specialize in resin preservation. This is a delicate process that takes on average 2-4 months to complete.
01.

*For further questions or concerns please reach out.
02.
Set Up Drop Off Date & Time for Flowers.
Shipping instructions will be emailed 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding. For drop off, an email will be sent to set up a time to receive your flowers. If further communication is needed, a personal consultation can be set up on request.
03.
We Receive Your Flowers.
Upon delivery of your flowers, a confirmation email stating the arrival of your flowers as well as pictures documenting their condition will be sent.
04.
Start Drying Your Flowers.
We use a special material called silica sand to help keep the shape and color of each flower intact. This process takes 4-6 weeks to fully dry the flowers.
05.
Design Consultation and Process.
Fill out design preference form. This is where most of our communication will be so that we can customize your design. If further communication is needed, a personal consultation can be set up on request. Once we remove the flowers from the sand we design a layout for each piece. A design proof will be sent to you for you to review and either approve or send back revisions. The design needs to be approved before continuing in the preservation process. 1-2 weeks is typically allotted to this stage of the process but can be extended based off response time and how many revisions need to be made to your design.
06.
Pouring Resin Layers.
This process takes 2-4 weeks to complete. Resin needs to be poured in layers to ensure proper curing as well as reducing the number of bubbles.
07.
Final Touches and Pack Order.
Finishing the edges and polishing takes place at this stage in the process. We also have a thorough packing process to ensure that your pieces arrive in good shape once shipped. This process takes 1-2 weeks.
08.
Pick Up or Ship Out.
Emails will be sent to either schedule local pick up or tracking information that your piece has been shipped.

FAQ
What is the turnaround time?
Turn around time can vary throughout the year but typically I aim to stay between 2-4 months. To break it down more, drying the flowers takes 4-6 weeks; this varies because depending on the flower it can take different amounts of time to dry. For example, cosmos, butterfly ranunculus and poppies dry a lot faster than roses. Once the flowers are dried, then the design process begins. I usually a lot 1-2 weeks for this because I want to give enough time for communication back and forth on your design so the design is how you’d like it to be. Once the design is approved then we begin pouring the resin. This is done in layers so this stage can take 2-4 weeks. Once the piece is complete and removed from the mold then the finishing touches will be added to the order and packaged up to ship, which takes 1-2 weeks. I ensure that every order is treated as if it were the only order that is being worked on at that moment.
Why are our turnaround times shorter than other companies?
There are a lot of questions as to what a normal turnaround time should be and that is going to vary from company to company. One thing that I assure you is that your flowers will move from each step in the process as soon as the flowers themselves are ready to go, not when the company is ready to go. Your flowers won’t ever be sitting in a que waiting for their turn to be designed or an available mold, if I need to order more molds or higher more employees then that’s what I will do. A turnaround time of less than 4 months has been deemed as a “red flag” by other companies. This is NOT true. Wild Forever Flowers communicates its timelines thoroughly and takes the time to provide a beautiful piece that timeframe. Other companies take on more orders than they can handle with a shorter timeframe so it’s common for their orders to sit in a queue for several weeks at a time until there is availability.
What can I do to help receive my pieces sooner?
The overall turnaround time can’t be reduced by much, simply because preservation takes time to do it properly. Where Wild Forever Flowers doesn’t restrict communication regarding designing your pieces, responding back to texts and emails quickly will allow us to keep working on your order at a good pace. Also, the more specific you can be in your responses the easier it is for us to provide you with a design that you are envisioning.
How do I ship my bouquet to you?
Shipping Instructions:
Step 1: Wrap a wet Paper Towel or cloth around the ends of the stems of the flowers.
Step 2: Secure a bag or ziploc around the wet towel and the ends of the stems to lock in the moisture.
Step 3: Get a box that will fit the flowers standing up comfortably. Not too small that you run the risk of smushing the blooms and not too big to allow for excessive movement of the flowers during shipping.
Step 4: Fill in the space around the flowers with packing paper or peanuts. Do not use any bubble wrap or plastic as it can cause moisture to build up in the box which can allow mold to grow and kill the flowers.
Step 5: Tape it up and have the shipping center put “this side up” and “fragile” stickers around the box.
Step 6: Include a paper with your name and order number in the box to identify your flowers once we receive them.
Step 7: Overnight shipping is preferred to ensure that the flowers arrive in good condition. If budget is a big concern then 2 day shipping can also be okay but know that the longer it takes for us to receive your flowers the higher risk there is of them not looking as fresh.
Step 8: Email shipping and tracking info to bobbie@wildforeverflowers.com.
How much does it cost to ship my bouquet to you?
Shipping costs can vary depending on time of year and location. Overnight shipping costs the most because of the expedited timeframe, 2 – day shipping is much more cost-effective but is only recommended in specific situations. To help estimate your shipping costs, here is a link to UPS’ shipping calculator. For more questions feel free to contact me via text or email.
Will there be bubbles in my piece?
Every piece is custom made by human hands, and resin is a very tricky product to work with. Simply put, yes, it is appropriate to expect a few bubbles in your piece. I do everything I can to prevent bubbles from occurring and try and remove them when I do see them, this is why I pour resin in layers, and it takes 2-4 weeks to complete each order. For reference on the clarity that I provide with my work please look through the pictures on my social media pages as well as the product page.
When should I book?
As soon as you can! We often are booking 1-2 years out at any given time. We do our best to take on as many orders as possible but especially during main wedding season (April-October) spots can fill up quickly so reserve your spot as soon as you know who you want to work with, hopefully us 😉.
Can I adjust my order after I’ve booked?
Yes! Definitely! We are always happy to add pieces onto your order up until we begin the resin pouring stage. After we’ve begun pouring resin, your order is considered finalized and cannot be adjusted. Once your flowers are dried and the initial design has been created, we will send pictures of your remaining flowers for you to see and add on any additional pieces to your order.
What if my flowers don’t arrive in good enough shape to preserve?
We take these situations one step at a time as they occur. This doesn’t happen very often but if it does we recommend repurchasing your flowers to replace those that aren’t able to be used. When shipping anything, insurance can be purchased to protect your package. Incase something goes array with your package, insurance can be claimed and help cover the cost of repurchasing your flowers. For other special situations feel free to text or email us with your concerns and we will do everything we can to ensure that you are happy.
What can I expect my piece to look like down the road?
Resin over time yellows slowly, it’s inevitable unfortunately. We have done extensive research in what resin products we use to slow down the discoloration process while still providing a clear and high-quality product. The best way to ensure a slower discoloration process is to keep your pieces out of direct sunlight.
How do I best care for my pieces?
Keeping your pieces out of direct sunlight ensures that the discoloration process is slowed. For serving trays, coasters and end tables, avoid placing anything hot on these surfaces, resin can be warped if this happens. When transporting your pieces, do not stack them on top of each other directly, wrap each individual piece with a soft cloth to avoid the pieces sticking to one another or scratching. For cleaning, only use water or a resin grade polisher on your pieces. Any harsh cleaners can damage the resin.
Can I preserve my already dried bouquet?
Yes! We love to work with all types of flowers at all stages and are not limited to working with already dried flowers. We can even replicate your bouquet if that is something you'd be interested in exploring.
Can you preserve faux flowers?
Yes! Whether you have silk, wood, or normal faux flowers, we can preserve all of them.
